His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President for Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), born in Riyadh on 27 June 1956. He got a master's degree in Social and Political sciences from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Social Affairs at Syracuse University in the United States in 1999.
Prince Sultan bin Salman is a former Royal Saudi Air Force pilot who flew aboard STS-51-G Space Shuttle mission as a payload specialist. He is the grandson of King Abdulaziz Al Saud, founder of Saudi Arabia and the only Saudi citizen to travel to space. He is also the first Arab, first Muslim, and the first member of royalty to travel to space.
In 1982, Prince Sultan bin Salman was appointed to the post of researcher in the Department of International Communications in the Ministry of Information of Saudi Arabia.
