SCTA President: Tourism development in the provinces reducing incidence of poverty
His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities has categorically stated that investment in the tourism sector generates more jobs in terms of quantity and quality compared to similar investment in any other sector.
HRH noted that the direct employment in the tourism sector account for in excess of 8.6% globally of the total manpower, which makes it to occupy an advanced position among the top three sectors generating employment opportunities around the world.
The comparative advantage is its ability to assimilate large categories of human resources of various qualifications and from different geographical distribution
