SCTA has lauded the recent approval of Saudi Ports Authority for building a service dock to receive passenger ships, excursion crafts and yachts in the Yanbu Commercial Seaport. The project was offered in a general bid to the public competition, said Dr. Salah Al Bakheet Vice-President of SCTA for Investment.
Dr. Al Bakheet further stated that, this project will contribute significantly to stimulate tourism in Al Medina, and in particular the Yanbu municipality.
“Such projects are fruit of a constructive cooperation between SCTA and the Saudi Ports Authority, which crystallized through a memorandum of cooperation signed between both the sides,” added Dr. Al Bakheet.
Dr. Al Bakheet reiterated SCTA's keenness to promote partnerships with public and private sectors in a way that contributes to the growth of domestic tourism in the Kingdom, enhancing its efforts to develop tourism products and investments in order to achieve the aspirations of Saudi tourists.
